About Joe Beer...

Joe Beer is one of the leading multisport coaches around today. His huge depth of experience and knowledge covers endurance training, sports nutrition and advanced sports technology. Joe has worked with athletes such as the legendary cyclist Graeme Obree, the UK’s first Ironman winner Matt Belfield and Scottish Ironman record holder Scott Neyedli. He has written over 1,000 articles in magazines including 220 Triathlon, Cycling Plus and Runner’s World. His first Triathlon book was published by Harper Collins in 2008. He has a new Time Crunched Triathlon Manual out April 2016 and Training for Sportives book out in Summer 2017.

Joe says “There are no secrets. Just two decades of experience, long hours, thousands of pages or reading, hours in the lab, time in the wind tunnel, lots of experimentation and a desire to be constantly learning.”

Joe is a five time Ironman including the legendary Hawaii Ironman World Championship. Thirty multi-sport seasons and counting, he continues to race multi-sport events and time trials. Joe is also an ambassador for Scott, PowerBar, InfoCrank, Indurance, Nopinz and Speedo.
